The dog is permitted to compete in the Championship after passing the veterinary check with a satisfactory result.
A dog with a known medical finding that allows full participation in the sport without any risk to its health or welfare may pass the veterinary check with a valid specialist certificate confirming its condition, issued no more than one month prior.
In the case of a heart murmur, the handler must present the results of an echocardiographic examination and a certificate from a cardiologist.
In the case of an orthopaedic diagnosis, the handler must provide X-ray images and a certificate from an orthopaedist.
Occasional acute medical findings will be assessed individually.
Please inform the organisers at registration if your female dog is in heat—an examination of vaginal discharge is part of the vet check.
The use of painkillers is strictly prohibited!
Other recommendations:
Due to the high concentration of dogs, we recommend vaccination against kennel cough.
Due to tick season, we recommend the use of anti-ectoparasitic medication.
